Accounts and roles
The four roles you can choose at sign-up and what each one unlocks.
The four roles
| Role | Lands on | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Builder | /dashboard | The startup workspace: every Builder module. |
| Angel Investor | /angel | Deal flow, portfolio, updates, network and AI analyst. |
| Syndicate VC | /syndicate | Deals & SPVs, members, commitments, distributions and communications. |
| Venture Capital | /vc | Pipeline, investment committee, funds, LP relations and reports. |
Builders and investors are kept apart
A Builder account runs a company; an investor account runs investing. Investor accounts are redirected away from Builder pages, and investors can only read startup data a founder has explicitly shared. See Data handling.
Roles inside a workspace
In a startup, the account that created the company is its owner and invited people are members. Investor workspaces have richer roles — for example general partner, associate or LP in a VC firm. See Investor roles & permissions.
